Gelamor Aftercare Advice
DO
Wear Gloves:- when doing household cleaning and gardening, doing hobbies that are rough on your hands or when using detergents.
Be Careful :- when using sunblock/ suntan lotions and oils or insect repellent solutions as many of these contain solvents which can cause major damage to the Gelamor colour coat. Please inform your technician if you are going on holiday.
Avoid: – excessive sun or chlorine. Dry your hands and nails after swimming to minimize any colour fading.
Use Oil It :- at least twice a day (especially before bed) to replace lost moisture, any nail coating dehydrates the nail plate causing nails to become dry, brittle and can break. We carry stock of Oil It so please ask
DONT
Pick or Pull if you accidentally chip or lift an edge as this will increase any damage. Please call us we are always happy to repair and sort any accidents. Repairs are chargeable.
Remove it yourself— please call and let us do this safely for you. Incorrect removeal at home may damage the surface of the nails. We use a conditioning remover and provide a mini manicure so that your natural nails look perfectly groomed.
Forget to rebook— Gelamor will need fortnightly maintenance as there will be obvious re-growth. We can either re-Gelamor your nails with a fresh new colour or remove completely which will take about 30 minutes.
